SELF CATERING HOLIDAY CHALETS ALONGSIDE LUCE BAY, 10 MILES SOUTH OF STRANRAER, IN THE SOUTH RHINS OF GALLOWAY, SCOTLAND. PEACE, QUIET, BIG SKIES, IT'S THE NATURAL PLACE!

There are six self catering holiday chalets available in total. Each chalet has a good sized Living Room, two Bedrooms (one with two single beds and one with two bunk beds), Kitchenette and Bathroom (bath, basin and W.C.), giving accommodation for four persons. It is possible to provide for up to two more.

The chalets are fully furnished and equipped with TV, electric water heater, cooker and refrigerator (electricity is controlled by a coin-in-the-slot meter), duvet, pillows, cutlery, crockery, cooking and cleaning utensils. Visitors are required only to bring sheets, towels and pillowcases.

There is ample grass-parking space beside each chalet for a car. The chalets are situated at the northern end of the tiny village of Ardwell between the A716 road and the sea. They are about 50 yards from the shore of Chapelrossan Bay and face east across Luce Bay with fine views to the Galloway Hills in the background.

There is a slipway from the carpark at the south end of Ardwell village from which one can launch boats and kayaks. The village also has a bait & tackle shop offering boat sales

Our self catering holiday chalets offer a great base from which to explore our beautiful region. Take a drive over to Wigtown Booktown, visit the Mull of Galloway, take a walk along the Loch Ryan costal route up toward Glen App, enjoy the Portpatrick Folk Festival, or just simply soak up the tranquility beneath a big sky full of stars!
