Port Logan was used for the filming of '2000 Acres of Sky', and has an Inn offering evening and lunchtime meals.

There is an award winning tea-rooom built, Hobbit fashion, partly into the hillside. Drummore itself offers a couple of pubs (The Queens and the Ship Inn) plus a general store and a visitor information centre.
Go west some eight or so miles, and you wil find the fishing village of Portpatrick, with its fine seafood restaurants, craft shops, annual Folk Festival and the annual Lifeboat Week. There is a Pitch and Putt course and all weather sports pitch too. Portpatrick has two golf courses - 18 hole and 9 hole on which visitors can play too.
