We have six chalets on a beautiful coastal site in the Rhins of Galloway. The holiday chalets are owned by the local Ardwell Estate, which itself covers a large area within the Rhins of Galloway south of Stranraer.

Galloway is best described as 'Scotland in Miniature', offering rugged coastlines, secluded beaches, forests, wooded glens, great golfing, coastal walks, peace and quiet, and outstanding local produce.

Our sea angling is some of the best in the UK - according to a recent study by the Scottish Sea Anglers Conservation Network - with Tope a speciality.

Although the village of Ardwell lacks a grocery store or public house, we do have a very good Fishing Tackle and Boat Sales shop! The local villages of Sandhead and Port Logan do have pubs (The Tigh Na Mara and The Port Logan Inn, respectively) offering meals and warm hospitality. There is also a tearoom in Sandhead, and a general store offering food and drink, newspapers, post office and bottled gas. More details can be found on 'location' page within this website.
